My favorite science fiction series

I started rereading Isaac Asimov's "Foundation." Before that, I only read it in russian translation. This is probably the first franchise that I want to reread, not only because of the translation, but also because I'm genuinely interested in this story about the decline and rise of the Galactic Empire.

This just happened to fall around the time Starfield came out, so to some extent I'm already immersing myself in space themes.

Since February 24, 2022, this is the first book I've read all the way through. Despite problems with concentration and time management, I still managed to do it without much effort.

It was nice to see how russian translation "standards" were used in the story. In the russian "Foundation," I didn't see this, and It's actually funny: "denounce the government" was translated as "carelessly speak out about the government."

Anyway, I liked it, I'll continue to reread the series.
