Where should I write on the dead Internet?

I moved Tumblr to Blogger. It's not like I write something often over 300 characters as of 2025, but I was surprised why I hadn't paid attention to this platform before.
What Tumblr offers: many blogs per account, blog site customization, likes-reposts, complete freedom regarding content (within the Terms of Usage and current legislation, of course). But there is no Ukrainian language support. When I asked support if I wanted to start a blog in Ukrainian, they advised me to just pick English or another language.
Moreover, the language setting option applies to the account, not to each blog
separately. Blogger is better with this: here, each blog you create has its
language setting. That is, when someone opens your blog in a browser, the page
will have the corresponding attribute like
<html lang="uk">
. Tedious, but it's important, at least
because built-in browser translators focus on this attribute.
Okay, we've sorted out the languages. What does Blogger generally offer us?
The same as Tumblr, only with a slightly outdated interface and without
likes-reposts. However, the absence of a social network on the platform can
also be considered an advantage. There's no feed, no other people, and this is
your little corner of the (dead) Internet. The freedom that Tumblr provides is
also available here on Blogger: you can post
stolen memes every day.
So, there's no significant difference, it seems? No, but the perception is different. I have a feeling that this Godforsaken place has not been touched by enshittification. This is probably because not only the gods forgot about this place, but Google itself too. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
